We are a new health food beverage company dedicated to creating nutritious beverages that also taste delicious.

NutriDeLight Foods was founded in the year 1999, but has roots that go back several years. The ideas for an all-natural delicious beverage packed full of nutrition started back in 1992.

These ideas were independently born in the minds and hearts of two people who did not know each other until they met a year later. These two people are Dr. Mary Ruth Swope and Mr. Andrew Sellars. Dr. Mary Ruth Swope is a popular author, nutrition-educator, and frequent talk-show guest. Mr. Sellars is a mechanical engineer, inventor, and hobbyist in the study of nutritious, healthy meal creation.

Dr. Mary Ruth Swope had a vision in 1992 to market a new beverage that would provide superior nutrition to people all around the world, especially to school children. She had in mind using a nutritious powder and needed a delicious beverage to mix it with.

At about the same time in 1992, Mr. Andrew Sellars was experimenting with nut and fruit milks that were simply delicious. Mr. Sellars dreamed about marketing his beverage some day. When Mr. Andrew Sellars met Dr. Mary Ruth Swope and they shared their dreams, it turned out that the nut and fruit milk was the perfect beverage to mix with the nutritious powder. It is so delicious that even children love it.

We have spent three years perfecting the nut and fruit beverage. Besides fine tuning the flavors and nutritional content, we have researched a wide range of processing methods in order to minimize processing effects on the nutritional quality of the beverage. We are now happy to bring you our first all-natural delicious and nutritious beverage, "Almondjool".
